Pre-Order Form

We  have set up a pre-ordering system which you can use to create a ‘one off’ or regular order of baked goods, dairy items and  eggs. This is to help us to order what we need plus some extra for walk in customers to the shop - but helps to prevent over estimating stock levels which creates un necessary costs and waste.

Please use the pre -order sheets in this section, taking note of the varying cut off  days and times for each category, and also which days we receive the deliveries from each supplier.

You can also email your order direct to alongertable@gmx.com or text to our shop telephone number if you prefer. 

Pre -orders cannot be paid for through Shopify checkout on this site as we have found that the nature of ordering from small local businesses occasionally means that a product is not available - we will inform you if we cannot complete  your requirements. Because of this we prefer that you pay when we deliver, or when you collect items from the shop,  rather than have to refund through the website if anything is missing.

This pre order service is not available for postal delivery, or physical delivery further than 5 miles distance from Kirriemuir, Angus.

We also have to set an expectation that goods ordered will be collected and paid for and that customers will not fail to collect them without good reason. 

We appreciate that sometimes things happen, but If anyone orders on this system and  does not collect  their items without informing us that there is a problem, we reserve the right to refuse further orders from that person.
